The end of the most tiring week yet... Didn't sleep earlier than 12.15 am...
Chinese: VERY VERY BAD (don't want to talk about it) Maths: OK, i suppose, considering the difficulty of the paper (I was 3rd, and only with 33) I *would* have gotten 3.5 more with 20 more seconds, until Mr jo said that he used me as a benchmark to gauge when to stop the test. When he saw me correcting my mistakes, he stopped the test (he said he didn't want me to get more marks? *arrrgh*) Science today was easy, except for that pressure question... Also, counter duty. Xian Bid forgot to restock the shop, and we ran out of stuff to sell at 3.15. There was also this incredibly irritating guy who came. They said that he was always the one bothering the prefects doing counter duty... HOW TO SLACK: The Life of Senthilkumaran Son Of Sabapathy (adapted from board diary 2004) 1. Get others to do things for you e.g. "Tan Long, please get me some glue" 2. Order others to do things for you e.g. "Tan Long, I order you to get me some glue" 3. Be assertive e.g. "Tan Long, I really think you should get me some glue" 4. Seem pathetic e.g. "Tan Long, I've been looking for glue for the past hour already. Can you help me find it?" 5. Employ subconscious manipulation e.g. "Tan Long, I'm sure there's glue around here somewhere. Can you take a look around?" 8. Take advantage of nice people e.g. Tan Long 6. Emphasise importance of task
e.g. "Tan Long, I have something important for you: I need some glue" 7. Emphasise urgency of task e.g. "Tan Long, if I don't get glue soon I'm dead! Can you possibly help me?" IF ALL ELSE FAILS 8. Tell the truth e.g. "Tan Long, I'm too lazy to go get glue for myself, so can you get it for me?" Somebody said that at 8:03 PM - x - - x -
