I now know what it is like to cheat death...

I woke up Saturday evening with a splitting headache, mice in my throat and a temperature of 40.2. I took 15 seconds to calculate 13+21... Off to Mt Alvernia I rushed. They put a mask on me and made me wait, deliriously, in the SARS isolation room.

Possible diagnoses:
Meningitis
Malaria
Cholera
SARS
Hepatitis B

Then the doctor laughed at me and told me I had a throat infection... Comes from trying to eat hot ban mian too quickly. I slept most of today away, and I think I probably will not die. 37.7 now...
