I went to church today... for the first time

In Spanish, but never mind...

It's supposed to be something wonderful and awe-inspiring right? Well it wasn't. I can't deny that some part of me was moved and felt a wonderful sense of oneness with the universe, but the rest of me didn't like it, sorry.

It seemed engineered to me, planned out long ago by some Machiavellian priesthood. The lighting, the altar, the music, the sermons, the architecture, the acoustics, all intended to give a sense of awe and wonder and crush the individual... Very clever...

It was nice though...
