They have a place called Nova Prospekt!
the first thought upon playing HL2. I mean, Nova Prospekt for a maximum security prison has to be the best joke I've heard this year (It means New opportunity) HL2 is one hell of a great game. Every single second of it. Somehow the 1-hour installation seems like peanuts... (5CDs! Can you imagine that? 4.4GB) . Somehow it seems more like a sci-fi movie than a video game, with the gorgeous graphics (with appropriate equipment), the best plot in any FPS (in a game mind you, but what the hell), great music and most importantly, the whole atmosphere... The flyers on the walls, the eerie techno music, the cruel mockeries of men, the iron fist of the Combine grinding the collective face of humanity into its own soil, right down to the weary eyes of the Resistance, every detail engineered to give the gamer a tight slap and drive this down his brain stem "This is Hell on Earth". It's as if 1984 was made into a game... I don't normally post about games, but this is an exception. Can I do an ERP assignment on it? Somebody said that at 9:06 PM - x - - x -
