hehehe - I passed!



Yeah, yeah, so you got more than me, I don't really care =P

Band exchange yesterday was a flop - nothing more than a small performance, then a spastic concert (not even a concert - just played and left). ACSI was so ashamed at their pathetic playing that they ran away after their first crappy performance =D. No sectionals, no form of interaction whatsoever. What was the point of bringing four bands together to do nothing, I don't know. So nothing from there...

Zhikai has a crush on that girl? the sec 2 prefect... (also trombonist!).

Anyway I have decided that I don't really want to run for council in jc anymore. I'm,tired of having people point at me with their index finger and go in that bloody irritating tone "PREEEEEEEEFECT!", for some minor or non-existent transgression. For god's sake, read the rulebook first okay? What the rules DO NOT SAY, they HAVE NOTHING TO STOP YOU WITH. Just because we're prefects doesn't mean we have to function mechanically with absolute obedience and homogeneuity. It doesn't mean I can't use bittorrent, doesn't mean I can't swear, doesn't mean I can't talk to girls. It just means I obey the rules, and do whatever I feel necessary as part of my duty to make your lives better (read: dialogue session).

Anyway I think the rules are really flawed when they prosecute you for doing things that do not affect other people. How does wearing ankle socks or or wearing non-white shoes harm others? Blahblah about school image and so on, but I think the distressingly high socks of the sec 1s damage our reputation more than their opposite. A friend of mine has great disdain for RI boys. To quote "see them on the bus, damn mugger-like". A great reputation we preserve here...

Enough of that angsting already... I found out that SS is actually fun - the ISD won't arrest you for saying anti-establishment stuff. I will make the most of this.
